There are many disc burners to choose from, but few of them are as humble and at the same time as effective as gBurner. It's a highly functional and very useful burning program that will make a fine substitute to any alternatives.
At first, gBurner may seem a little clunky. The interface is very simple and designed in such a way that it may seem obsolete. But it's easy to use, navigation is simple, every function is accessible and working fine, with the main function of creating data, audio and video CDs, DVDs and even modern Blu-ray discs. Not only that, but the program can also make bootable discs, including USB, with system data, or even combine multi-session images and write a hard copy.
Creation is covered just fine, with fast processing and stable work. But it's not the only thing gBurner does. It can also serve as an editing tool, opening a virtual image, extract or add files, convert it into a different format, etc. It's a surprisingly good tool for ripping audio, supporting MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC of OGG. After you get your audio, you can then create a mix CD right away, which I found to be immensely useful.
